Qadisha Hike

Hiking with NAC through the enchanting Kadisha-Qannoubine Valley in Lebanon was an unforgettable experience. As a lover of the outdoors, the trail offered me an ever-changing canvas of vibrant colors with its lush, colorful trees and the gentle flow of the Qadisha River. Each step revealed natural springs and the stunning Janne Waterfall, where the sound of water cascading through the valley was both refreshing and rejuvenating. The path wound through charming old houses and historic villages, each telling stories of the valley's rich cultural past. The ancient religious sites like Deir Qannoubine Monastery, St. Marina Church, and the Monastery of Mar Lishaa were not only visually striking but also spiritually moving. Navigating through the beautiful rock formations and narrow fall passages added a sense of adventure to the journey, while the cliff views offered breathtaking panoramas that made every climb worthwhile. This hike was a perfect blend of natural beauty and historical exploration, leaving me with lasting memories and a desire to return.
