Yahchouch Hike

Yahchouch is one of the villages that surround the Jabal Moussa Biosphere Reserve, located at Keserwan Caza and is the biggest village in the Ftouh- Keserwan area.
At 45 Km from Beirut and at an altitude ranging from 200 to 1150 meters, Yahchouch is home to 8 Maronite churches and is known for the abundance of water streams and wells that flow into the river Adonis. This village is one of the most beautiful in Lebanon, surrounded by the Adonis Valley. The origins of its name come from the myth of the god Adonis wounded in the river Nahr-Ibrahim.
